{Christmas 2013 - New Years 2014}

Everybody says it, but it really is true - Christmas went by WAY too fast!!
We had such a wonderful holiday, and we hated to see it all end!
Kent, Tammy and the kids drove in from South Dakota for a visit. They arrived late Sunday night, the 22nd, and were able to stay until the 1st. We had such a great time with them!

A lot happened in 10 days, and we have lots and lots of pictures!
It was hard to decide which ones to post and harder to decide which ones to leave out!!
So there is a ton of pictures in the post, and they are in no specific order!

The weather had been so off and on! One day it was warm and sunny, and the next day it was snowing and windy! We had prayed and prayed for snow, because Ava LOVES the snow and Tammy's daughter, Leilah, had never seen snow before!! Thankfully, we had the perfect weather.
Enough snow for sledding, without a storm!

Ava

Brayden

Leilah - she was so funny when we told her it was snowing outside! She kept watching out the window and was worried when the sun came out, because she was afraid it would "dry up" the snow!

Our cute, little snow bunnies!!

Sorting presents on Christmas Eve, after the little kids had gone to bed.

Christmas Day was very laid back and relaxing! It was so much fun having little kids here! We had Wake-up Rolls for breakfast, and started on the presents around 10!

Tammy was teasing Brayden and told him he only had one present. He believed her, opened his one present, said it was "the best present ever" and sat down to watch everyone else!! After that, it was hard to convince him he actually had lots more presents to open!!

Pappy helping Brayden put his Octonaut together.

Ava was so excited about her Doc McStuffins doctor kit!

A new book for Katrina

An UnderArmour hoodie for Kaleb - he has wanted one for a very long time!

It's simply not Christmas without Legos!

Kent and Tammy gave us candles that they had made.

Kaitlyn helped mom wrap a lot of presents this Christmas. It was 99% fun and 1% awkward:
Mom: Here, do you think Katrina would like this wallet and hair brush?
Kaitlyn: Yes, she probably would, but I think you got those for me!
I picked them out, anyways, and you bought them!!!

Ronald Reagan movies for Kelley!

New clothes for me!

Tammy LOVES crafts, so we all got her different Stampin' Up stuff.

A family photo calendar for mom from Kent and Tammy. It's so pretty!

Dad's gift - all the way from Turkey and kept a secret for over 7 months!
We were pretty excited and so was he!

Nurse in training!

Pappy made them a tent!

Ava's favorite game is Sorry!

On Friday, Kent and Uncle Paul so graciously helped dad and Kaleb cut a load of firewood!
Thank you so much, guys!

Kaleb brought down puppies!

Tammy taught us how to bake asparagus - it was SO yummy!

I'm not sure what all was happening in this episode of Curious George, but it must have been pretty serious!!

More Sorry!!

Ava, talking to her mom!

Kelley making Leilah's nails look beautiful!

Poor Pappy was worn out!!!

Ava and Leilah were so excited to help me make two pans of lasagna one night!

Someone was ALWAYS coloring!!

Tammy had wanted to see a Dairy Farm while they were milking so she could see all they do.
One of Dad's farmers graciously let them come in and watch!

Brand new kittens!

Petting the cows

Pappy and Brayden in the tractor

We somehow managed to match one day!

Playing Phase 10 - As you can see, it was intense!!

Playing with a Nerf gun. He is the sweetest kid!

Story time

With everyone's different schedules, we were not able to get together with everyone and have the "Big Wagner Christmas." Thankfully, we were still able to see everyone, just on different days!
Uncle Paul and Briana came on Thursday and stayed until Saturday.
We were thrilled to have Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Bob spend New Year's Eve with us!

Kent brought a mug back from Turkey for Aunt Bonnie.

Khara and Tim came over for a few hours in the evening on New Year's Eve, and it was great to get to spend some time with them and the kids.

Zoey!

She was SO funny! Katrina got her sunglasses for Christmas, and Zoey put them on, then stood there just like this until she was sure everyone has seen her!

Cracker Barrel rocker from Pappy and Nana.

Katrina's new scarf from Khara!

Legos for Timmy!

First time we had all been together in about 5 years! Thank you, Uncle Bob, for taking the picture!

(Zoey was just not sure about this, and poor Brayden was so sick!)

We hated for New Year's Day to come, because we knew that meant everyone would be leaving:(
We're already looking forward to getting together again!
