After 4 years, she was more than ready to part with them!!

{Kaleb's Birthday Prank}

So, Kaleb has this incredible amount of wit and humor. It's nuts for one person to have so much!

He is down right brilliant, but he is also so hilarious! He never ceases to make us laugh...even when we are determined to be serious!

He does, however, have one flaw: it's just about impossible to pull anything over on him! He's way too fast and smart!

So for his birthday this year, mom really wanted to get him!

While he was at work, unaware of what was going on and unable to stop us, we executed our plan!!!

Dad filled all the balloons and then he and mom filled Kaleb's truck with them.

Although the outcome sort of backfired slightly, it was still pretty fun! And even Kaleb had to smile!

The wind was blowing really hard, and it was super hot that day, so we had to leave the windows down in his truck a little, so that the balloons didn't go flat. But the wind made all the balloons smash up against the passenger side, so the balloons didn't fly out of the truck like we had hoped! Then he just whipped out his pocket knife and took care of the rest of them!

Oh well, we had a good time watching at least! 

Thanks for always making us laugh, bob!!!

They closed on a house last week and are

official homeowners now!!

I got to see the house while I was visiting in March and it's beautiful inside and out!!

{Project: Flat Stanley}

Ava called me in April to ask if I would help her with a project she was doing for school. A few weeks later, Flat Stanley arrived!
Ava asked that I take good care of him, and take him on many wonderful adventures!

He just finished up his visit with us, and is now on his way back to school! 

Ava made the Flat Stanley, and the school sent the little journal/book with him...I just had to get the pictures and fill it all in.

It's official!
As of last Saturday, May 30th, Kaleb is a high school graduate!

We drove down to the Baltimore area Friday afternoon.
Graduation rehearsal was all afternoon, and rehearsal dinner was that evening.

Kelley was not able to take Friday off work, but came down later that evening.
We left the dinner a little bit early, met up with Kelley and headed to Viv's.
She graciously opened her home to us again while we were down!

The ceremony was Saturday afternoon. It was a wonderful service and all the graduates did a great job!
Sorry, our pictures are not the best at all. The lighting in the church was bad for ordinary cameras!
Hopefully we will get copies from the photographer soon, and I'll post those!
But in the meantime, here is what we have!
