{A day on the truck with Tim....dinner with the Krivoshs}

Friday, September 14th I went on the truck with Tim. It was his Wheeling,
WV route, which required us to leave the house at 4:30 a.m.  This is
his longest route of the month.

Tim's truck is an organized, fully-stocked supply store on wheels!
He's an encylopedia of information and help for the farmers.  This is
his 8th year in business for himself, but he has been running a dairy
supply truck since 1983.

The highlight of the day was meeting Khara, Tim, Timmy, and Zoey
in Washington, PA.  They treated us to a Grandparents' Dinner
at Cracker Barrel.
We were thrilled to have this time with them!!!
Zoey is growing and changing so quickly!!

Zoey was Mama's girl -- it was getting late.

Timmy -- our little man.  :)

Zoey is taking steps now, so she just wanted
down to "walk".

We had such a good visit.

So handsome!

Timmy used my camera to take this picture of
Mommy & Zoey.

Pappy and Nana enjoyed giving Zoey and Timmy a tour of the gift shop.

Zoey liked the toy train chugging around the bottom of this Christmas tree.

Timmy found all kinds of treasures!!

Pappy thought Zoey was the perfect size for this little
rocking horse.

Zoey was getting sleepy, but she was perfectly contect as Pappy rocked
her for about 20 minutes.

Sooooo sleepy.

Timmy is a great big brother....

...and Zoey loves him so much.

Tim and Khara,
    Thank you soooo much for a good dinner and a great visit.  We
love you so very much!

{Corn}

This year, we were able to grow some corn in our garden.
(We haven't had much success growing corn in the past few years.)

We got several bushels of corn to freeze from one of Tim's customers.
Tim & Kaleb did all the husking.

It takes alot of people, alot of dishes, and makes a big mess to
do up corn.

Kaitlyn & Karissa are the designated cutters.

Katrina washed it all.

I handled the measuring and cooking, etc. - kept things moving.

It was sooo nice to be able to keep all the mess of doing corn in the basement.
Thanks, Dianna, for some of your old cabinets!!!!

Corn cooling before it was bagged for the freezer.

Tim, Kaleb, & Katrina picked the last of the green beans while the
rest of us bagged the corn, and cleaned up the mess.

Everything went so smoothly and quickly this year!  It was a great day.

{Finished}

Well, after two weeks and a little bit of trouble with my serger machine
(thanks, dad, for fixing it and saving me a lot of money and a trip to LaVale!),
I finally finished about 45 potato bags!!!
I usually only make them once every season, but I got my fabric for a really good deal,
so I ended up making the ones for Fall/Thanksgiving and Christmas all at the same time.
Now I all I have to do is drop them off at Penn Alps!!

Grandma, I hope I have made you proud!
Thank you for teaching me how to make them!!!

{What's New with Kelley?}

#1. Kelley is now a certified Medical Transcriptionist!!!
She finished her courses the middle of July and received her diploma mid August (yes, I'm running behind, I'm sorry!) She's not employed yet, as she started her third semester in college last week, but is excited about getting a job later on to help pay her way through medical school!

#2. Kelley is now trained in CPR!

#3. Out of 900 students, Kelley was one of 19 students invited to be in the Honors Program
at Garrett College! This will be the third semester out of 3 semesters that she has been invited to this program!
God has blessed Kelley's diligent work.

Congrats, Kelley!
