{Happy First Day of Spring from Garrett County}

Pretty sure that almost every year, we have snow on the first day of Spring!!

I just love it!!

It has been in the 50's and even 60's here during the past couple of weeks, so when we woke up to several inches of snow this morning, we were all pretty surprised!

(actually, although they won't admit it, the rest of the family was just bubbling over with excitement that it had finally snowed again!! I think it just thrilled them all to pieces, and I was so glad to see them all so happy!!!)

{Ice on the Lake}

The lake has been frozen over for probably months now, and we have wanted to go out on it, but just never took the time to do it.
After Kelley got home from work the other day, we just ran down real fast to snap a few pictures.
Kaitlyn was still at work and Katrina wasn't home either, so it was just Kelley, Kaleb and I.
We were very disappointed when we got there, though, because it must have been just warm enough the past few days to melt away around the edges:(
Oh well. Maybe next year.
It was still really pretty though, so I wanted to share a few pictures.


You can see the snowmobile tracks in the distance, so we knew it was still pretty thick, we just couldn't make it to the thick part on foot!

{Kelley's Car!}

That's right!!

Kelley is now the proud owner of her own car!!!!

She has been looking for one since she started her job at the beginning of the year.

She finally found what she wanted, so this past Tuesday found her and dad at the car lot, signing all the paperwork!!

It's a 2013 Subaru Legacy and she LOVES it!!
