{Picnic}

Saturday, July 28th also included a family picnic here at our house -- since so many of our family members from NC, SC, & VA were here to attend family reuinions, we planned this little get-together.  We were thrilled to have this time with our family and friends, and then some extended family dropped in and were able to stay and share the evening with us, as well!!!

Paul and Bonnie helped prepare food all afternoon.  (Plus, Tim & Bonnie

picked 3 buckets of green beans from our garden while the kids and I were

at the Schmidt Reunion.)

Our new kitchen was wonderful to work in, and everyone had plenty of room to move around.

Abbey and Timmy especially enjoyed "fishing" in Nana's fish bowl - blue jello and gummy fish.

A visit to Pappy and Nana's wouldn't be complete without playing a game of Sorry.
